REGION 1: My "expedition" do not start down south, but from the metropolis Johannesburg, which has been my home the last three years. To add Swaziland and Lesotho to the itinerary, I had to go east and then south, continuing up to Lesotho and down to the coast, before getting to the actual starting point, in Cape Agulhas far far south. The route on this map shows the route up to the southern part of Namibia.
