First trip after rebuild

First stage in the rebuild was finished Friday 29 October 2004!

As soon as the rebuild was finished, there was time to make the first test, pictures here.

There has been times when I have told my self that this is "too much", but seeing the vehicle now, makes me confident that this is exactly what I had in mind a few weeks back. So try to imagine the excitement on bringing her back on the road

Phase II - Enhancements, more equipment

Second "major" drill on Betsy started 27 May 2005 and is due to my continues of tests during the last months. I decided to change the interior to get more storage space inside. Also trying to organize it in a way that I am able to use most of the cabinets when the car is packed for travel. My excellent Oz-tent that is my "guest lodge" will be stored in a separate tunnel. This is done to conserve the aluminum parts that can easily be bent when stepped on (which already has happened). I am also building a separate computer cabinet, shelves for books and paper and more storage room for tools and spare parts.
