Well, just to make a point. There are lots of photos on the web

10 June 2006 - About time to brag about this site again, while people are still complaining about the lack of pictures on the web. So, that's why I found myself counting the photos. And even though I new there was quite a number, I had no idea of how much. Incredibly 403 photographs have been uploaded on my site since the project started 1 February 2006. This is pictures from this project and not counting the old ones prior to takeoff.

A detailed explanation follows; On the main pages which are updated every second or third day we post a picture. Which means we already have over 60 photos in that section pr 10 June 2006. Overview here

In addition to the regular updates on the main pages we also have the campsite pages which consist of at least one photo. As long as we are able to and have time to do so, they are updated every day. These pages are meant to show you where we stayed overnight and as long as we are moving, its changing daily. It is also coordinates, enabling you to find out exactly where we are on the map. The syntax on the coordinates are made to "speak" with Google Earth. You can just copy and paste into the search field in that software and you will be taken (virtually) to  our spot. If you have a good connection its quite remarkable to see how it works and how detailed it is on most places. On the camping site pages we are also writing down how far we have travelled, elevation, prices and more. In this section we have counted 98 pictures so far. (To find these pages, click on "Where are we?" on the Main Page.

Then there is the Photo albums on each country we have visited. It is now 47 pictures on those pages. I will change those pages, but have to see if there will be enough time to do everything. Tore Auset was right, the web is getting complicated. In the country pages there are also slideshows that we are proud to present. These slides together are counting 82 photos. To find them, go into the country pages and click on "Photoalbum" or use the main page left margin and click on "Photo galleries" and there is links to Slideshow.

You would now think that this was it? Well, its not. We have something called the PhotoStudio. That's my portfolio of pictures I am most proud of. These photos can also be bought by simply sending me an email and write the name of the pages you want. I have a secretariat in Norway that will send the originals to a lab and have them sent to your address. We are working on a solution to be able to pay over a secure internet banking. From these trip so far, we have posted 47 large format pictures. You find the PhotoStudio pages at the same place; Main page left margin and click on "Photo galleries".

There are more; Copilots (12) Book project (9), Goodwill project (1) Archive and Diary (12) and a lot of picture under Betsy web www.betsy.no Being sponsored by Norway's number one photo establishment, we have to try our outmost to take this part as serious as possible. This page is ment to be an overview of photos, where to find them, the most resent updates and interesting topic to do with photography.
