Mumpf, Switzerland Mumpf, Switzerland 30 years later It was not exactly in my itinirary to visit Mumpf right away (but what is?). After driving around for hours in Zurich without finding a suitable camp I knew that there was a camping in Mumpf. Unfortunately that one was closed and so was Hotel Zur Glocke (my old workplace), but the manager Violetta Furrer at Anker Hotel let me camp in the parking. Mumpf is the village that I went to as a seventeen year young boy, trying to learn how to cook at Studinger's famous Restaurant Zur Glocke (once offered one star in Guide Michelin). And earlier mentioned Cornelia is of course one of their daughters. Right now I am just waiting to hear from Cornelia because I I don't have the phone number, nor the address. Further plan after Zurich, we are going to Germany and from there possibly straight to Scandinavia (or who knows?) |
