Modena, Italy - Saturday 15 March 2008 - Friends after friends after friends...

No offence to my previous co-pilots, but this definitely has to be cape2cape's best dressed co-pilot ever. My good friend Thomas Hagelid enjoyed a brief visit with us as we hooked up at one of his (many) conferences around the World, this time Rome, Italy. Staying together (in the same bed) in Marriott Hotel was a disturbing but pleasant experience for me.

The fact that he didn't find a proper excuse to join me in Africa, I felt kind of proud that he could be regarded as co-pilot and member of the Scandinavian explorer crew and most important Betsy's friend. To say that he took her for a spin would be bragging, but 350 meters around the parking lot counts. The plan further now is to reach Switzerland during the day on Saturday and hopefully meeting up with my friend Cornelia and family on Sunday. Then there is Easter!
