And then the compass is set to point northwards again. Gunnar (picture) left me on Thursday noon with Sterling from Leonardo Da Vinci Airport in Rome. Nine days with an historical and cultural rollercoaster in amazingly five different countries, ending here in the capital of Italy.

Many thanks to my friend Gunnar for providing me with comfortable hotel rooms, food and enjoyment throughout the entire visit. There is no way I could have afforded to take this into my itinerary without the help from Laphen en I can now mark off Rome as places I have to see before I "rest".
