1, 2 and 3 and that was that

France, Monaco and Italy in less than half a day must be regarded as turbo-tourism. We left France in the morning and the second we came into Monaco we looked at each other, nodded and silently decided not to camp here. On the picture to the left we parked in front of Monte Carlo Casino, but due to a heavily guarded area we stopped just for a minute. So we left the blackjack tables alone and continued our quest to find "the meaning of life". The question is; Will that be easy to find here in Italy? A funny thing though, in the narrow streets of Monaco, people seam more intrigued by Betsy than the all the sportscars that surrounded us. What I dont understand is, how on earth is it possible to run through these streets in Formel 1 speed?

I don't know that I have seen more densely populated area than what we drove through on Tuesday. Every hilltop was occupied with apartment buildings and except for a few golf courses every square inch was taken either by a house or roads.

Betsy is doing fine, marching along in 70 km/h and it looks as if Gunnar is enjoying the ride despite the lack of a heater. We just dress for winter and everything is fine.

Now the plan is to ascend down to Rome slowly with a few stopovers at historical sites (which are plentiful in Italy), some wineprodusers and a visit to the beach (also dressed for winter).
