This blog is about an invention of mine, to improve the game of football. As I am now connected to the internet through a wireless connection, I enjoy reading newspapers in Norwegian.
As a result, I came upon a story about "my team" in my village Kyrksæterøra where they lost 6-1 to the rivals Ranheim from Trondheim. As my team just advanced up to the 2. division (nationally), I wanted to try and find a way to help. After using some of my most precious brain cells (in the creativity department), I stumbled up on something.
How about using some of the tricks and ways from the animal kingdom and because I know African wildlife better than any other, I was thinking of the camouflage of the often so fragile zebra. Some scientist claims that the pattern on the zebra skin makes the competitors (here predators) sight illusions and they have problems distinguish them in a crowd.
Directly translated into the profound language of football, that's genius! My team has green and white shirts and by making them in a zebra pattern it could be the key to success (I think..). Just a tiny remark; How will they distinguish their own players? Well, I am working on that one ...(link)
