Valls, Spain - Wednesday 20 February 2008 - When old news got puffed up...

There has been times when we have thought about lying about Betsy's conditions, but so far we have been honest and straightforward regarding her health. Due to strong family ties and affectionate love towards my hard working lady, I should have kept quiet about the last incident, but here it goes.

The above text was written exactly one year ago and I might as well start to take blueprint of previous blogs. Today (Tuesday) it happened again. We planned to climb the "mighty" Pyrenees to end up in the tiny state of Andorra, but Betsy didn't like the idea. She halted after 500 meters above sea level because her rear axel broke again. Betsy and altitude gives her strange attitude. If you remember our trip up Atlas were she decided to leak the radiator. Well, this is life. We ended up in a garage on the foot of the mountain and hopefully we can continue on Wednesday. Olé........

Another thing, my co-pilots are really getting into it these days. Erik Brandt, you know, he who joined me into Cote d'Ivory. The long one, the professor... He stamped another baby into this world yesterday (Tuesday) and Erik and his beloved Heidi are counting THREE kids already. And still so young... Congratulations to you all, picture here.
