Ceuta, Spain - Wednesday  7 February 2007 - Betsy's first encounter with the European Union

Its almost over! Our African experience has come to an end and the only thing we can do now is look back. And THATS what I definitely will do in the coming days and months. Look back, re-live, re-experience and recapitulate. Study all the pictures and think back on all the people I met and the places I saw. If I spend my evenings doing that, who needs to rent another DVD movie or watch any television (Well, I am kind of an addict to both, so I am not sure about that).

Anyways, Geir and myself came to Ceuta after a lot of hassle with Betsy's hip which was welded on Wednesday morning. The welding didnt hold, so Geir had to knock the hip back every 10 km. BUT, we made it to the planned destination and we celebrated the day together with a chinese family celebrating their New Year. On the above picture; Betsy in the streets of Ceuta.
