Strange things happened

On Monday we found ourselves wading in deep salty (and healthy) water together with fifty locals as we decided it was time to clean up a little. It is not always easy to take cold showers in high altitude where the outside temperature is close to zero degrees Celsius.

We walked in the narrow streets of the old city of Fes which in itself was a remarkable experience. It was a mist of the good old medieval times about the whole scenery.

Our itinerary was telling us to continue north, but we could easily have been stuck here for several more days as this was a town after my own liking with all the outdoor cafes serving "Nos Nos" (small glass with of coffee and milk). Both Geir and me could sit endlessly on the sidewalk watching the life go by in front of us.

I think we had to drag ourselves out of there, just to realize that we had to proceed further north. After the healthy hot bath we continued through a scenery that was so green and spectacular that even a "nature spoiled" Norwegian as Geir was amazed.

Then Betsy got jealous and wanted some attention again and broke down. After a short telephone conversation with our Norwegian support team we sorted out the problems "half-way" and continued about 30 kilometres when Betsy suddenly started to behave "normal" again. What happened we will find out on Tuesday, but I think it was kind of strange.
