Marrakech, Morocco - Friday 1 February 2008 - TWO years on African roads

We made it and Geir T made it! But it was seriously close and that said; Who cares how close it was as long as we made it..? My eighteenth co-pilot is in place after flying around half Europe and Northern Africa (Trondheim, Oslo, London, Tunisia, Casablanca and finally Marrakech).

For us (Betsy and me) the last days has been both eventful and exciting. We have to admit that we have had time strains and first at 17.35 on Thursday afternoon Betsy was fully recovered and fit to enter the streets again. In the mountains the day before our radiator got a serious leak and the electric problems that continued to give us headaches.

Geir's planned arrival was at 18.00 but the flight from Casablanca was delayed, meaning that we managed to drive to the airport and stood waving as he came out from the terminal. As my brother always proclaim; "Everything will be better when the trouble is gone..." :-) And Ove is right, we continue to roll on the African roads as we have done the past two years, carefully but confident.
