Atlas mountains, Morocco - Thursday 31 January 2008 - Heavenly beautiful
After Betsy's electrical dysfunctions, there were one day to spare before my co-pilot arrives and why not inhale some cold and fresh air high up in the mountains. That was the thoughts and so we did (as you can see from the above picture). This could have been the trip of the year if Betsy could have "kept it in...". Incontinence is serious business and we should not mock about it, but please, not now! not here! In mechanical terms it was the radiator that bursted.
75 kilometers from "home" (which happened to be the Land Rover garage) and a fully blown leakage at an altitude of 1800 meters! Well, there was no people nor animals up here and there was no other way than to climb back down. Using about 20 liters of water on the way back to town it was understandably more than dripping.
As that was not enough, the electrical system that has haunted us the last 10 days failed again. So, back to the "wizards" and fix her up before my co-pilot arrives on Thursday 1800! Will me make it?
