On the road north, Western Sahara - Saturday 20 January 2007 - On the edge of Sahara

Trying our best to avoid the killers and robbers in Mauritania we hurried up north and managed to stamp out the same day my visa expired.

For the first time in Africa, we didn't pay a cent in fees, gateaux or baksheesh and it was kind of nice. As this is done by Moroccan officials this was the last border entry in Africa on this journey which is kind of sad. What I already know is that I will always come back "home" to this continent.
