Zebrabar, Senegal - Wednesday 2 January 2008 - Lazy days in St Louis

What should have been days of excitement in the many dunes of the semidesert of Sahara has turned into a holiday in a family resort by the sea. A temperamentful sound of Betsys engine is unwillingly traded with barking dogs and screaming kids, but understand us correctly we are not headlessly bored.

Even though this must be a haven for many "blanc" travelling north or south, its to family oriented for us bush-men and we are eagerly waiting for news from Marc and colleagues in Dakar.

On Thursday morning they will again be busy trying to get her back into off-road modus after a week of holiday. How long we are staying put in Zebrabar is entirely up to Marc and also Betsy, to say the least; we miss you very much.
