Garaja, Guinea - Monday 10 December 2007 - First encounter with Guinea

Leaving all too late from the capital of Sierra Leone we only arrived at the border around 5pm. We continued until 8pm when a sharp sound exploded in my ears. Just to comfort my arriving co-pilot, it was NOT the gearbox. I stopped at the roadside and parked in front of Mariama Camaras house and although we could not communicate, it was fun.
