Monrovia, Liberia - Saturday 24 November 2007 - EXTRA --- One month left to Christmas Eve

My confidents took another hit on Saturday morning as I was up and ready for the third test-drive this week. Now with a new tranfer-box that was said to cause the strange sounds beneath. Well not so this time around either, the sounds that was annoying on Friday have become "out of the ordinary annoying" on Saturday morning. Solution now is to find another gearbox and change the entire @#$%%# that they rebuilt two weeks ago, meaning we are starting from scratch.

This is something I have been stressing all along to get rid of that box, but assurances from the manager or more correctly overriding decisions has postponed that process, until now!!! I have learned the phrases; "don't worry... its almost done...", "its about to be running perfectly now...", "you are ready to leave soon..." from the ever so optimistic and positive Richard Bossman, but believing in it kinds of fades away as the weeks passes by.  The above picture is a Christmas reminder from last year in Ethiopia together with Johan.
