Monrovia, Liberia - Friday 23 November 2007 - A small breakdown

Everything was set for a long drive north-west, a successful testdrive on Thursday, dieseltank filled up and my travel-guide Aisha was ready with her suitcases when unluck struck... It was a strange sound even yesterday, but the chief mechanic said it was just "a good sound". On Friday morning I was parking the car outside the garage when it happened and the diagnoses was "Damaged gearbox". What they are trying now is to change the transferbox to see if that will sort it out, those who surf will know...
