Monrovia, Liberia - Thursday 15 November 2007 - Change of plans again

It looks like the unexpected delay here in Monrovia forces us to change plans. My previiously so brave and enlightened spirit about a three day stopover in Monrovia to change a gearbox has resulted in some sort of dissapointment. People are not so efficient and professional as hoped, but maybe a World leader in profound promises.

That said, there is no need to be worried that it will be fixed, its just the timeframe which in my case is crucial. For the second time I am trying to change the arrival date for my next co-pilot and hopefully this time around I will be able to keep my word. On Wednesday the mechanics were promised to come in the morning, which was 12.30 and they worked for about half an hour before they had to send for an auto-electrician. He didnt come, but they promised to be back tomorrow morning (which might be afternoon again) Who knows!
