Monrovia, Liberia - Friday 9 November 2007 - All my friends in Monrovia
This is my good friend Cecil Barnes, a man with a heart as big as Mandela's. He is CEO at Cape Maritime where I am staying at the moment and lean for a minute on the cars license plates on the above picture. It says Cape2, which many of you now would find amusing and rightly placed. Dont worry, I am not superstitious and have great believe in reaching the second Cape before everything ends up in a hilarious humour festival in my village back in Trondelag in June next year.
Visa for Sierra Leone is ready, I got my Carnet from Joseph Oji whom I couldn't meet in person to say thank you. Towing is payed and thanks to Carlos for pulling all the strings. Price is settled for the gearbox (with 2 days warranty:-) with great help from Toe Choloply. Mr. Jackson will perform the surgery starting on Friday morning at 8.00. So this sounds like we are almost at schedule if Randi Moneypenny will see to that the bank transfer to Mr Barnes account will go quickly and smoothly.
