Danane,  Ivory Coast - Monday 22 October 2007 - We are hospitalized...really we are!

And relax, my wounds are 97% healed and will soon be able to continue my rituals by offering myself a drink when I am at a new camp or a new country. Damn it, looks like I will be on the wagon for another couple of days because I fired my two local heroes due to an overprized bill for doing "nothing at all"... 100 Euro for making some phone calls and driving around in the nearby villages to find a gearbox really scared me off. What would the prize be if they found one and for putting it all together again. Well, to make one short out of one long, I called my good friend Stéphane Brossard from NRC Doukoue and he pulled some strings and got me where I am at the moment.

Safely within the hospital borders of a very well known NGO, MSF (Doctors without borders), I also involved NRC Abidjan helping me with my ... lack of French. There is three different ways of getting the parts now and the one I believe in the most is through PitStop in Accra, Ghana. Lets just keep some faith and follow this "soap" and see if I will be able to meet up with Gunnar and Pelle in Liberia.
