I mentioned a strange sound with Betsy on Thursday blog and the comment was "The only uncertainty now is Betsy, but I have to try to bring her all the way to Monrovia to fix the hiccups with the gearbox" and I also wrote "I am not 100% confident". He he, a man knows his woman.

We now have a mechanical breakdown due to a broken gearbox (see pictures) and we have already lost two full days. Our rendezvous with Mr. Laffen will surely be missed and its the first time we are not able to meet up with our co-pilots. Hopefully the last.

The good thing here compared to other workshops, they are working around the clock and even on Saturday and Sunday on the hunt for a gearbox. Any kind will do, even full automatic DAF are welcome into Betsys interior.
