This is happening

Now that Betsys strange sound is localised and fixed, and the Liberian visa is okay there is no spesific need to stay in this metropolis any longer. Due to some medical complications I have to stay on and relax for a couple of days here at Ibis hotel.

That means that further plans are squeezed a bit and that the visit to the western coast have to be cancelled.

On Wednesday I had a very pleasent and interesting meeting with the Norwegian Refugee Councils Chief of mission Eric Demers were he informed me about the important work they are doing in Ivory Coast. He also gave me contacts for my journey on to and across the border to Liberia. I am looking very much forward to see what NRC is doing and it also gives me a chance to display the work of my previous employer :-) Thanks a lot Eric.

Further plans includes a visit to Yamoussoukro before going west towards Man and the once so hostile area up in the northwest region of Ivory Coast..
