Dixcove, Ghana - Sunday 7 October 2007 - A hidden paradise in Ghana
After too much hassle finding the place it was more a relief than joy when we finally arrived three hours after dark. Driving around in faraway villages encountering every second local "hero" as loud and very drunk was not the best way to meet the "village people". We were determent to address the lack of road signs and misspelling of the name to our Swedish landlord as soon as we had a beer in our hands... It so happened that the Swedish owner was in Sweden, so we forgot all about it and were happy that we could order a hamburger five mintues before the kitchen closed.
On Sunday morning we discovered that this place was worth the search. And what else than "The Hideout" is the name for this tranquil place runned by Margarath from Stockholm. After relaxing at the beach until early afternoon, we will continue towards the border of Ivory Coast. If we are lucky, we might be able to catch Erik's plane departing from Abidjan on Monday night.
