Accra, Ghana - Monday 24 September 2007 - Co-pilot Erik Brandt arrives on Friday
There is pressure on both the workshop and myself right now, because there are only four days before the next visitor (co-pilot) arrives at Accra International Airport. To be honest, the stay here at Pitstop in Accra has been a big disappointment and the day Betsy has regained consciousness I will write a blog about what has happened, what has not and why. My level of patience has been put to test and sorry to say, I didn't get the best score.
Being unable to enjoy the days of driving and camping is hard to describe and I know for sure that when Betsy is back on her "feet's", I will appreciate her more than ever before. The good news is that the team started working on her first thing on Monday morning (which has never happened before), and that itself is something of a change.
I assume that Erik co-pilot is worried about his journey now, but contingency plans are already in place. Its easy for me to say "Dont worry", but that has been my frequent used slogan during the entire trip.
