I'LL BE BACK...

To be honest, there has not been any major events or big happenings so far in Burkina Faso. I must admit that driving with no reverse prevents you from take unusual turns and go places off the beaten track.

I knew that I would get a second chance, so it might also have prevented some irregular stunts and guided tours.

Rain stopped our city tour on Sunday. I planned to go together with my "colleagues" Paul and Carron, but we cancelled and relaxed at the hotel in stead. Wireless internet was the reason I got stuck at the OK Inn at first. That stopped the day Paul showed up, so I accused him bringing a North African virus or bug into the hotel.

I got a lot done before I got disconnected, so I shouldn't feel too bad, even for free!

We stopped 20 km from the border to Mali, so Wednesday will be the day we cross over.
