Doume, Cameroon - Monday 9 July 2007 - And the game is on...

On Sunday late afternoon I stopped in Nkoum a small communtiy village of less than 300 people. Boys playing soccer in front of their homes, the sun was setting and a perfect oportunity to shoot some pictures now that the light was perfect.

Their ball was long ready for retirement and I had some GoodWill footballs to spare. There is always very enjoyable to take pictures of kids playing as long as they are looking at the ball and not the camera. They got a brand new professional football, donated from one of the many friends of cape2cape. I bought eight balls, and still have six more to make lots of boys happy.
