Abong Mpang, Cameroon - Tuesday 26 June 2007 - U turn to Yaounde

The road down to Dje national park was not good enough for my dear Betsy, so I decided to skip the visit for now. Too bad because it was also the intention to visit some pygmy villages in the same area. And the reason is; At our last visit to a service station we were recommended to change a few spare parts and planned to do that in Yaoundé on our way to CAR. As we didn't, we are now paying it. I don't want to be in a situation were there is hundreds of kilometres to the second best service station. On the above picture is my host for the night, Jean Mbog, a agricultural researcher running a centre for crop and seed experimentations. He showed me the fields which was very interesting and insightful.
