Douala, Cameroon - Thursday 14 June 2007 - The adventures weeks with Eli is over

Three weeks together and still friends! It is amazing how easy it is to share my Betsy with another woman and I must be quite a man who could keep harmony between them as if the word jealousy never existed in their vocabulary. I have been very lucky to have Eli around these last weeks as it has brought me in a state of total relaxation. She took charge of everything that needed to be done with paperwork, shopping, border crossings, visa applications at what not.

She has proven to be a true and dedicated co-pilot and has gained the highest position after her second visit. Alex de Presno had a tie with Olaug Auset because of their test trips prior to take-off in 2006, but Eli is the first true re-runner.
