Bata, Equatorial Guinea - Saturday 2 June 2007 - From despair  to happiness

Things change so quickly on the continent that I should be embarrassed by what I wrote on my previous blog. Everything that happened yesterday is forgotten and will only be brought forward when there is something special to share over a glass of brandy somewhere with someone.

We are now camped at a place called Manga na Ediba and it could easily be compared with our paradise in Kenya where God made holidays. Phillippe and Christine welcomed us to stay at their place so close to the beach that the crabs dives into the sand when you turn around in bed. We believe that this will be our relaxation spot for the days to come. Btw. the restaurant serves excellent food.
