Brazzaville, Congo - Wednesday 17 May 2007 - Happy Birthday

Today is an important day for us Norwegians, we have celebrated the independece since 1905, the year we finally got rid of the Swedes :-)))) We have to go back to 1319 the last time we were totally independent, so we celebrate our independence as proudly and enthusiastic as any african nation.

How it will be celebrated here in Brazzaville is still an open question, but I know that the Norwegian consul Madam Fume has something planned.

Progress; Interview with two children will take place on Thursday, visa for Gabon is already stamped in my passport and we are ahead of schedule. Six days until Eli Storset arrives.
