Brazzaville, Congo - Wednesday 16 May 2007 - Thanks to mama Lilliane

It is raining sideways in Brazzaville as I am writing this and I am situated in the capital of Congo. The twenty-second country since we stamped off from Johannesburg over fifteen months ago.

I need to let you know that my encounter with Lilliane made a big difference for both Betsy and myself and I would like to thank her for all what she has done for us. Being alone in a big city is never easy and Kinshasa with its 10 million (or much more) definately made this visit a challenge. Meeting Lilliane and her famliy was a big treat and I regard them as true friends of cape2cape. Thanks a lot Lilliane, Jonathan and Jade for being such good friends.
