Ambrisette, Angola - Monday 7 May 2007 - Roussel Emanuel from France

Someone claims that what I am doing is wild, but look at this monkey... I met Roussel briefly on my way north and I wish that I could have spent some more time with him. I had to rush, as my speed average has been declining for every hour since I took off from camp. Roussel Emanual has been on the bike for six months, leaving France before Christmas last year and the destination is South Africa. He game me some warnings about the roads up north, a description not very flattering I would say.

Poor Betsy went flying on Sunday and she took a serious hit. The hole chassis moved five centimetres and I am now able to shake hands with people without "opening" the doors.
