Benguela, Angola - Tuesday 1 May 2007 - We reached the Atlantic ocean

I am not sure how I am doing according to schedule, but on Sunday I hoped to be in Benguela, and despite all troubles with the roads, we managed. And stupid me, no photos of that. I was waiting for a sharp turn towards the ocean, but the road kept turning eastwards, so I guess we will have to wait another two days before I can display the blue spectacle.

We found a secluded campsite outside the city, an abandon church or school, so I guess I am well protected or well haunted during the night.

I hope to in the outskirts of Luanda on Thursday, what will happen there is an interview and visa applications for DRC and Congo. Looking at Benguela, where I was on Monday, I wish I could spend more time here. The city reminded me of Mozambiqe, with its Architecture from the long gone portuguese area. The buildings looks like they are in a better shape than in Maputo and Beira.
