Oshakati, Namibia - Thursday 19 April 2007 - No matter what, we will keep the trust in people

Traveling Africa is not real before you meet obstacles, specially if you go deep. Sometimes it is actually better to go deep than be broad, meaning that my obstacles has all taken place in towns and cities. My first and most important rule from the beginning of the trip has been "being alert", never let your guard down as my boxing coach put it. Yeah, I went to a boxing academy when I was young and stupid, now I am not in the academy anymore, just plain stupid.

Being comfortable for 14 months did something to my "guard", and I guess I am to blame for what happened (read previous blogs linked on the bottom). The ride has been so peacefully quiet when it comes to confronting the bad guys that I became relaxed and trusted everyone (which is very bad if you are a boxer). But we try to keep faith and give most people the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. We are now waiting for our windshield to arrive in Oshakati and we trust that it will be here when it will be here... A few days late, but nonetheless we trust it will arrive soon.
