Joburg, South Africa - Wednesday 4 April 2007 - Getting closer to take off

Betsy is fixed and so am I... All my tests, including Bilharzia, Malaria, HIV, and what not are all in perfectly order, so its just the Angolan visa that is missing now. The visa is expected to be in order on Thursday (InshAllah). During the up coming holiday I will be on the road and as long as the rain and the pilgrims are not giving me problem, I will be by the Angolan border around the 13 April 2007. Five weeks after that, I have to be in Cameroon to meet up with my new co-pilot Eli Storset. It will be Eli's second trip with cape2cape, she was also joining us in Malawi almost one year ago. Time flies when you have fun and keep busy. Looking forward to travel again after these holidays in the south.
