Kasane, Botswana - Thursday 22 March 2007 - Visiting friends on the way to Botswana

I believe it was well worth a five hours delay to visit Mondeya and Lucy in Magoye, Zambia. Mondeya is representing Zambia in the book project and being only a few minutes away from my route, it was good to visit again. I know she has been talking about Betsy and me a lot since we left her in May 2006, and we know that the goodwill gift that was given by Olaug (yes, my mother) has been well spent. We bought English and math books for 6th and 7th grade and it was amazing how much progress she has had. After a scam in Livingstone town (where I lost some money), we are now on the way south in Botswana. Don't be too surprised if we are across the border to SAR by tomorrow night.
