Eldoret, Uganda - Tuesday 13 March 2007 - Good Old Betsy keeping up the pace

Sorry about the delay on this article, I was busy adjusting to the urban city life in Nairobi. I came to think about what I actually write into these blogs and I am arresting myself in being too brief and tabloid about Betsy. Exactly the same phenomena that infect the European press when writing about Africa. Its nothing but poverty, illnesses, crisis, war and death they print when the subject is Africa.

And now I am doing the same regarding my dear Betsy. I tend to write about her only when she is hospitalized and hurt. We have been traveling together for almost 14 months, or well over 400 days. During this time she might have been causing me headache four times. What's that in the bigger picture? I need to appreciate her daily hard work and post some stories of joy and happiness.

Enough said. We plan to stay here in Nairobi three days before moving down Southern Africa.
