Yei, Sudan - Tuesday 27 February 2007 - Erlend Vaag left Yei, South Sudan on Tuesday morning

My "brother" Erlend said goodbye on Tuesday and left the region with Eagle Air headed for Kampala Uganda. He will be staying at Hotel Africana until his ticket to Europe is sorted out. Our "agent" Kristin Blæstad at the Norwegian Embassy has been really helpful in this process and will take good care of Erlend in the Ugandan capital. Thanks a lot to Erlend for great companionship and for being positive in a difficult time for cape2cape. At least we made history, as far we know, nobody in our village in Norway have been travelling from Khartoum to Juba with a car!
