Khartoum, Sudan - Sundag 21 January 2007 - Co-pilot Erlend Vaag arrived in Khartoum

Time to be social again, we have welcomed Erlend Vaag, a brother (in African terms) from Aure, Norway. He arrived on Sunday afternoon after a 20 hour long trip from Oslo to Khartoum. He will now join me for a few weeks and as he said him self; "Until I find a suitable airport to take me back home". The first evening in Sudan was a memorable one as we were invited to friends for a barbeque. We were not allowed to leave before all the meat was gone, but we chickened out a few minutes after midnight. Great start and more excitement to come...
