In order to use some of the time that we have here in Asmara, we decided to take Betsy to the clinic for a minor brush-up. Samson at Lilo Transport is one of the best guys (we were told), so why not let him tamper the "girl" a bit. One of the gas-shocks to assist opening the hood had to be fastened. Latest news from the Department of Tourism was that they granted me permission to travel to Tessanie which means I dont have to go back to Ethiopia or Djibouti. Everything now will depend on the Sudanese embassy here in Asmara and the Foreign Affairs in Kharoum, Sudan.
