Just to keep it clear, there is nothing wrong about growing old in Eritrea. Years go by without any progress what so ever in getting papers to continue my journey in Africa. We have, despite the delays, not lost hope. We are still looking forward to a solution, being positive and ofcourse, we are NOT loosing it...

Yesterdays visit at the Sudanese embassy didnt give us much hope to be on the road for another week (at least). There is holidays in Sudan, so Foreign Affairs offices are closed. They open again on Saturday, but on Saturday the embassy in Asmara is closed until Monday. Thats the current status.

Lets cross our fingers, toes and other bodyparts that next week will be THE WEEK. I really dont want to grow old in Eritrea, although its a comfortable place with the Worlds best looking girls...
