From left, Kirabo and Karungi

Uganda, Sunday 22 October 2006 - Visiting Karungi and Kirabo in Kampala

After a few days at the source of the Nile, we went back to Kampala to visit Jennifer, Kirabo and Karungi. They live on the hillside of Kampala and we have the pleasure of staying on the one acre big property and we are the only camping tourists there. We came here on Friday and will be leaving on Monday, because my co-pilot Olaug will be leaving us for Europe later in the evening on Monday.

It is now a whole month before the next co-pilot is arriving in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, which will be an exciting experience as I have never met Johan before.

Uganda has been very wet for us the last three weeks as it is "the small" rainy season here now. I would have liked to presented Uganda with a little more sun, specially when you travel together with your mother. But this is just silly complaint from selfish tourists, we appreciate every drop of rain that comes to the soil of mother Africa.

On the above picture you see uncle Jarle's nieces Karungi and Kirabo in school uniforms.
