
Rwanda, Monday 2 October 2006 - We welcome Olaug and Einar as the new cape2cape crew

I don't know who was most excited, but it was very special to see my mother at Kigali International airport. Not only that, but accompanied by my friend Einar. I look very much forward to spend the following weeks together with them, and I am sure they return the excitement. They arrived on Saturday night and this is the first time that I am sleeping outside Betsy when camping. Einar and myself camping in the tent and my mother occupying my beloved one for three weeks. The first day was spent in the camp, as we are staying at a camp that can provide a bar, restaurant and a SWIMMING POOL... This is absolutely the best camp in Kigali (hmmm the only one as well) even though we are camping at the car park. We also went a few hours down town to see the Sunday markets and test a local restaurant. This is an older version of San Francisco in miniature, quite likable is my first impression. On Monday we will interview two children at SOS Children's villages in Kigali and |
