We have been relaxing for four whole days at Mwazaro Beach Mangrove Lodge and as their slogan says; Where God makes Holidays! So did we. Doing mostly nothing except for dining exceptionally good every day and the last day we were invited for a river cruise up the mangrove banks where they have a mangrove paradise close to the Lodge. Mwazaro and Mr Hans are trying to protect the mangrove woods and have employed to rangers to look after this area. The last year they have planted 10 km2 of mangroves in these rivers. And the project continues.

Mr. Hans is the guardian of the holy baobab and has together with his colleague made a magnificent place practically on the beach. Its not too much to say that they have the best Zanzibar kitchen in the whole region and they have been portrayed in French television more than once the last years.

They are launching a book about Mr. Hans in October, which will be translated from German into English probably in the beginning of 2007.
