Kenya, Saturday 12 August 2006 - Betsy, Rune Ovlien and Jarle reached Kenya on Saturday
|
We came into Kenya through Lunga Lunga borderpost on Saturday 12 August 2006. My brother asked me if it was only 11 country after so many months and told me this is going too slowly. Well, keep in mind that we will spend two years on the African continent and 11 after six months is right on schedule. Tanzania will be revisited as there are two more co-pilots visiting me in Arusha, Jens Auset and Alexander de Presno will arrive the coming month. I might get pretty sick of the horrible price level both in Kenya and Tanzania by the time I leave for Burundi, but I guess thats part of the game... The plan is to find a nice scenic place for a couple of days before going to Tsavo East and West (The biggest national park in Kenya). After that we hope to find Alex Rosita in Lusaka before going back to Arusha to have a look at the crowdie Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. Lots of things to do, and don't be surprised if something else pops up, we tend to change plans all the time. |
