Tanzania, Saturday 22 July 2006 - Betsy got some grease and the Burundi visa is fixed.

Dont be shocked by the main photo! Nothing much has happened lately so I am putting my self on display. Friday we treated Betsy with some entertainment from (at most) seven gentlemen in dark blue overalls. They were doing all sorts of fun with her from lubrication service, clutch repair and the long lasting water leakage that she had since the trip started almost six months ago. It is now only four days before we leave the land bound Africa and going for a closer look at the famous island Zanzibar. Rune Ovlien, my next co-pilot will (Insh Allah as he says himself) be together with rest of the crew on Tuesday 25 July. If Betsy will travel with us to the island, we don't know yet. Saturday we will have the cameras looked after by professionals. They really need some care and cleaning, I am way to ignorant when storing/using this expensive equipment. Next on the program now is Zanzibar for one week, then preparing for a trip north by the coast into Kenya and Mombasa. Tsavo East and West, Masai Mara and lots of other expensive fun. |
