Tanzania, Saturday 15 July 2006 - Visiting country number 10 - T A N Z A N I A !!!
|
This guy was changing money on the black market right on the border into Tanzania. His t-shirt fitted so well into this page, so we had to let him pose (he is standing in the middle of tidy "office"). Getting him to pose was the easy part, you don't have to beg to get them in front of the camera. The tricky part was to keep his colleagues away from the viewfinder. Again the big question; do you see any difference from one country to another? Well, its too early to tell, but what struck me the most as we came into Tanzania was hillside after hillside with green farmland. There were loads of crops up the entire mountain (2300 meters above sea level). Tea, Banana, cabbage, lemon, tomato, you name it! The villages was more chaotic and there are people everywhere. Finding a wild camp was not that easy, but we managed to find a deserted village before dark. Maybe its haunted? On Sunday we will slowly descend down to the coast, with a detour into Selous national park. Looking very much forward to get into a dense (wildlife wise) game park to take some "winning photographs :-))) |
