Malawi, Friday 14 July 2006 - And we are celebrating our single status again

Only hours after Eli Storset left us, we found ourselves dancing, singing and drinking to our single life again. 30 + housewives and children came to the camp to perform a private cultural ceremony. I don't think I ever have had that many women performing just for myself, ever.

In fact, I was actually tricked into "buying" this entertainment group from the Chitima and surrounding villages. I was asked if there was any interest in seeing a local traditional dance and I said of course that is something to consider (and THEN I was out manoeuvred ...) He ordered the group as if he got a "yes" and when I left the camp the next day he came running and asked me where I was going, the ladies were already sitting around the camp fully prepared to exercise for the musungu tourist.

Thanks to the visible "FotoVideo" banner on the car, they came to the conclusion that I had rights to broadcast my videos and pictures all over Europe. They had surprisingly made a song about how nice it was to be in Europe (on television that is).
