Malawi, Monday 3 July 2006 - Survived five months with almost no trouble and the trip continues...

It is now some sort of a celebration as we now have been on the roads for five months. 150 nights "on board" Betsy and we are still going strong (if not stronger). For those of you thinking of doing the same thing, let me include you in a secret; its not a hassle, its not boring and it doesn't need to be expensive.

We have been in Malawi now since June 18th and I am impressed by this country, I wish that my x-colleague Chico could have been here, she would have given this visit another dimension I am sure.

We will be in Malwi another two weeks before we greet a new country and face new environments.

On Monday 3 July we will proceed up north and have a closer look at the national parks in Kasunga and xxxxx. What we have seen so far has made nothing but great impressions, which will increase the expectations a bit, but we are not afraid of what is coming. We know it will be good.

Our GoodWill project is running pretty well. On Saturday we had the pleasure of making a special day for a poor familiy in Chembe village. More about that in the GoodWill pages...
